What is History Makers Leadership Co.?

History Makers Leadership Co. is a 7-month leadership group for men and women who are ready to grow, lead, and be stretched.

This is not just a gathering, it’s a commitment to intentional development, spiritual maturity, and leadership in every area of life. Over the course of this program, you will be equipped, challenged, and poured into, but it does not end with you. The expectation is replication.

We are looking for individuals who are already leading at a high level, who are committed to growth, and who are willing to invest into others.

  • History Makers Leadership Co. is a six-month leadership and discipleship journey designed to train and develop people who feel called to help build the local church, specifically, History Makers Church.

    The focus is leadership development, not Bible college training. The goal is to help participants learn how to pastor, lead, shepherd, and care for people well while becoming more like Jesus as they lead others.

  • The cohort is for both men and women who sense a genuine call to help build the local church and History Makers Church.

    We are looking for people who are already faithfully serving, already building, already leaning in, and who are genuinely committed to the vision of History Makers Church.

    You do not need to be perfect, we’re looking for faithfulness, humility, hunger, and a willingness to learn.

  • The cohort is a seven-month leadership and discipleship journey, beginning in October 2026 and finishing around April/May 2027.

  • The cohort will meet twice each month.

    Each month will include at least one session with Pastor Terrence or Pastor Emma, along with sessions featuring guest speakers.

    Some guest-speaker sessions may take place over Zoom because some of them are located in other parts of the world.

  • There is no financial cost to participate in History Makers Leadership Co.

    However, there is a significant commitment of time.

    The cohort requires participants to invest in the process through meetings, reading, coursework, homework, and practical application. Participants will also need to purchase their own learning materials.

  • There is limited space available, and the goal is to invest deeply in every person who participates.

    The application process helps ensure that the people entering the cohort are genuinely ready for the commitment and invitation that Leadership Co. requires.

  • Yes. The cohort is designed to be developmental, which means participants will need to be teachable and willing to receive feedback.

    The goal is not simply to inspire participants but to develop them. The cohort is a place where participants will sharpen one another, grow together, and become more like Jesus.

  • Before the cohort begins, participants will complete several leadership assessments.

    These will look at areas such as:

    • Leadership gifting

    • Ministry gifting

    • Leadership style

    • Personality

    • Individual wiring

    These assessments will help provide insight into how God has uniquely created each participant and help inform the coaching and development they receive throughout the cohort.
