We are now just about two months shy of celebrating the 3-year anniversary of the start of a dream that a handful of people invested in by sowing into our vision for History Makers Church. In these 3 years, we have started weekly Sunday Services, we’ve held Freedom and Marriage Courses, New Believers Classes, many Outreach Events, Small Groups for both adults and our youth, held three DGHTRS Conferences and we’ve seen more than 1400 people come to know Christ. Every one of us has benefited from their investment, and now it’s our turn to invest in the next generation.

This is what our Vision Builders Offering (year-end giving) is all about. It’s a special, once-a-year offering we give over and above our tithes to accelerate the vision of making an eternal difference in people’s lives here in South Florida and around the world. It’s a great opportunity for us to give what God puts on our hearts to accelerate the vision of our church to reach more people with the Good News of Jesus and see everyone live a better story.

This year’s Vision Builders Offering is this Sunday, December 15th. We’re encouraging everyone to be part of this special day. Our goal is not for a certain amount to be given, but for everyone to participate at the level God leads them to give. It’s not about equal giving, but equal obedience to what God has said – which we know is sacred, sacrificial, and supernatural.

We are in this together. Together we are making an epic and eternal difference and seeing an E.R.O.I. (Eternal Return On your Investment).

PLANT AND PROSPER
THE CHURCH:

Prosper History Makers Church: This includes expanding the vision of getting HQ remodeled and saving towards a building for our church (currently we have $400,000 towards this project initiative). To better serve our community will require facilities to not only meet weekly on Sundays but also create a place and rhythm to facilitate weekly Youth Services and Small Groups, Adult Small Groups, a space of our own for Freedom Courses, Marriage Groups, and more.

Plant Other Churches: We will also partner with two church organizations that helped us plant, A.R.C. and Orchard Group because we do believe Jesus is the hope for humanity, but the gathered church is the hope of the world!

History Makers Internship and Leadership Academy: Where we invest in the future in partnership with South Eastern University (S.E.U). We dream of a site at our History Makers HQ that offers students affordable degree programs and internships. We want to combine hands-on ministry experience, leadership development, and community with faith-based education to deploy students with skills to become influential leaders in their sphere of influence.

Pathfinders Breakfast: Pathfinders will be a marketplace and business breakfast hosted by History Makers Church, designed to inspire, support, and champion business and creative people to grow their influence in their sphere of culture.

LAUNCH LEADERS:

Local Missions: We’ve already forged successful partnerships with organizations like Feeding South Florida and Scarlet Hope. Our team has vetted through these opportunities to find the most critical needs and most effective places to make a difference. We’re already doing a lot in our communities, but this offering will allow us to do even more.

National Missions: Church planting through A.R.C. and Orchard Group. We believe the local church is the hope of the world. The best way to impact our country is by starting new churches and strengthening existing churches in the U.S. This offering will not only build life-giving churches that will change communities, but we are also planning a surprise “Christmas Blessing'' for new church planters and pastors who are sacrificing their holiday with their families to do ministry.

International Missions: Joyce Meyer’s Convoy of Hope. Through this strategic ministry partnership, we have had the opportunity to bring hope and relief to the most critical places on earth – Israel, Afghanistan, Haiti, and Fiji, just to name a few. We’ve been able to support churches as they rescue women and children displaced and ostracized. This offering reflects the heart of our God, who loves the whole world (John 3:16) and responds to the cry of Jesus to “go into all the world” (Matthew 28:19).

NEXT GENERATION: YOUTH CAMP AND YOUTH NIGHTS:

Youth Camp: We desire that every summer, people are thinking not of Disney World but of Youth Camp! We call them the next generation but really, they are the NOW generation because we see that we have the ability to make a positive and eternal impact on their lives NOW. Providing yearly summer Youth Camps will provide a time of fun, bonding, and spiritual growth for our youth.

Friday Youth Nights: Our kids are always looking for something to do on a Friday night and of all the options out there, we’ve created a fun, safe, and empowering one at History Makers Youth Nights! In 2023, we were able to commence regular youth groups for middle and high school meetings in different homes each Friday night. Now in 2024, we’ve been able to expand this to regular youth nights on a Friday nights at our HQ. With our growing group of dedicated Student Leaders, we hope to continue to be the light that is needed in the world for our youth as they navigate changes in all areas of their lives: school, family, and culture.

SPIRIT LED OPPORTUNITIES: WORSHIP ALBUM

History Makers Worship: Worship has been an integral part of the vision and mission that God placed on our hearts as we get to reach His people, lost and found, through written song. God has added to this vision by gathering a team of worshipers with the same heart as ours – to spread the Gospel through song.

History Makers E.P: The further into God’s presence that we go, the more He teaches us about His nature. Songs are being written as we praise Him in rehearsal spaces, events, and Sunday services and now, we’ve been able to see this become a reality with the release of our first History Makers Church single this year!

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

We will pray for you to be truly blessed Spirit, soul, and body as we follow God’s call for our church.

Provide you with opportunities to come on special mission trips and see firsthand the work that God is doing through our church abroad.

We will send devotionals out to you - because there is an attack in this area and we know that to build a healthy church, we need to cover that and make sure you are spiritually, relationally, and emotionally rich.

Legacy Lane reports in 5 areas (P.L.A.N.S.) in February for those who would like to be a part of the Legacy Team. This report will give an update as to where we are going, where we are and allow us to articulate the vision gap! This is where those with the gift of giving can step in to make a difference. “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us… if it is giving, then give generously.” Romans 12:6-8.

We are not telling you what to give, we are asking you to ask God and do what he says. Simply ask God: “What would you like me to give to accelerate your vision through History Makers Church?” and then do exactly as God says to you.
